The Local project promotes sustainable agriculture by highlighting indigenous seeds’ role in combating climate change. The documentary “बिर्सिएका बिउ – Forgotten Seeds” educates viewers on the benefits of these resilient seeds while showcasing expert interviews and farmer testimonials. It emphasizes the need to preserve indigenous seeds and addresses the drawbacks of hybrid seeds, such as biodiversity loss. Ultimately, the project aims to encourage policy shifts toward sustainable seed preservation for the benefit of farmers and the environment.
