Climate Resilient Agriculture

The project has made significant positive impacts in several villages of the Khordha and Jagatsinghpur districts. It has successfully encouraged the adoption of millet cultivation among farmers, promoting this sustainable agricultural practice. This shift not only enhances food security in the region but also leads to improved incomes for farmers. By focusing on millets, which are drought-resistant and nutritionally rich, the project addresses the challenges posed by erratic rainfall and soil degradation. Overall, these efforts contribute to creating a more resilient agricultural ecosystem while ensuring the well-being of the farming community.
