Air Purifier and Quality Monitoring Index

The project focuses on developing an air purifier and quality monitoring index designed to detect and mitigate greenhouse gases such as CO2, N2O, and CH4, as well as other toxic gases. It features a three-layer filtration system that includes a pre-filter mesh, HEPA filter, and active carbon filter to capture particulate matter and harmful gases. UV light strips are integrated to sterilize the air before it is released, effectively removing germs. The system also includes a boiler for storing dust and unwanted gas particles, which can be repurposed as reusable fuels. To monitor atmospheric conditions, a 16×2 display board and Arduino with connected sensors provide real-time data on air quality before and after filtration. Additionally, a DC 775 motor allows for speed control via a potentiometer, ensuring the efficient release of fresh air into the environment.

The air purifier and quality monitoring system significantly enhances indoor environments by filtering harmful pollutants and allergens, creating cleaner air essential for individuals with asthma, allergies, and compromised immune systems. In settings like homes, hospitals, and schools, it promotes health and well-being while ensuring safety in critical areas. By monitoring air quality, the system provides valuable real-time data, fostering awareness and encouraging the use of purifiers. This initiative not only improves indoor air quality but also raises consciousness about outdoor pollution, contributing to a collective movement toward sustainability and environmental protection.
