Plastic to Fuel by the process of Pyrolysis
The project aimed to enhance garbage disposal systems by finding a useful way to reduce waste. The team decided to convert waste into fuel, implementing this idea through the pyrolysis process, as suggested by one of their university professors. After considerable effort, they successfully completed the project on time, showcasing a practical solution to waste management.
The project has made a significant impact at the university by raising awareness about plastic waste disposal among students. Many peers, including both juniors and seniors, have been inspired to see the potential benefits of repurposing plastic rather than discarding it carelessly. This shift in mindset has fostered a culture of responsible waste management on campus, contributing to a positive change in attitudes towards sustainability. The team’s efforts have not only highlighted the importance of recycling but also created a sense of pride and accomplishment in promoting environmental responsibility within their community.
