ECO – REVIVE : TRANSFORMING WASTE INTO WELLNESS

The project aims to enhance sustainability and reduce environmental impact through various eco-friendly initiatives. Key actions include launching “Wrinkle Wednesday,” encouraging the wearing of unironed clothes to conserve energy, and promoting climate-awareness t-shirts. The project focuses on replacing single-use plastics with reusable steel items and installing a self-washing sink to minimize plastic waste. Notepads made from one-sided pages are used at events, demonstrating creative reuse. Additionally, plastic bottles are segregated and sent to a nearby recycling shredding center for proper disposal. Collectively, these efforts contribute to immediate waste reduction, energy conservation, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility, promoting long-term sustainable practices within the community.

The project provides significant short-term and long-term benefits. In the short term, it reduces waste by minimizing single-use plastics and paper, conserving energy through initiatives like Wrinkle Wednesday, and effectively managing plastic bottle recycling. These actions lead to immediate environmental improvements, such as decreased pollution and reduced strain on landfills.
