Waste to Wonder Gardens.
Our project aims to address food waste and promote sustainable practices by implementing a composting system to produce organic bio-fertilizer. By converting food waste into a valuable resource, we aim to reduce environmental pollution and mitigate climate change. Despite challenges in waste segregation and maintaining compost moisture levels, we have successfully produced a high-quality organic fertilizer that improves soil health and reduces the need for artificial fertilizers.
Our project successfully raised awareness about climate change and food waste within the local community. Through educational sessions, we inspired community members to adopt sustainable practices, such as composting food waste into organic fertilizer. This shift has not only reduced waste but also saved money and improved soil health. By understanding the environmental and economic benefits of composting, community members are actively contributing to a more sustainable future.
